Charles and Erica Baldwin proud Oakland natives started the brand Keep it Oakland in 2008; out of love for their community and Charles' colorful personality. After having lived in Oakland for decades, they have seen the many changes, and the progression of a city in which, they are proud to be connected to. Their love for the town made it natural when it came to raising children. To teach and share the importance of staying true to their roots, service to their community, and to appreciate the cultural diversity that surrounds the city in which, they also love. Keep it Oakland is more than a cliche, it's historic and transformative. Keep it Oakland was born out of the culture of slang but a history of love. Thus making being a part of this movement in collaboration with Oakland Indie Alliance, sweet.
